30 healthy snacks

With back to school (and for many of us, back to work) season in full swing we need to make sure we are prepared with healthy snacks when we are short on time! Here is a list of 30 of my favorite snacks that are sure to satisfy any craving! Whether you enjoy sweet, salty, savory, crunchy, smooth, etc, there is something here for everyone!

 

Choose 1-2 from the list depending on your hunger levels and caloric needs for the day!

  1. 1 medium apple and 1 tbs peanut butter
  2. ½ cup carrot sticks and hummus
  3. 1 cup greek Yogurt and Berries
  4. 1 cup light popcorn and 2 tbs nuts
  5. 1 string cheese and 1oz crackers
  6. 2oz turkey and cheese roll ups
  7. ½ c cottage cheese and ¼ c pineapple
  8. Mini bagel with 1tbs cream cheese
  9. Half pita pocket with 1tbs almond butter
  10. 1 cup cheerios plus ½ c skim milk
  11. 1 oz tortilla chips and salsa
  12. 1 slice toast and 1oz mashed avocado
  13. English Muffin with scrambled egg whites
  14. Smoothie made with ½ c cottage cheese, ½ c skim milk and ½ c fresh berries
  15. ½ c celery sticks with 1 tbs peanut butter and raisins
  16. 1 hard boiled egg and 1oz crackers
  17. 1 rice cake topped with 1tbs cream cheese and sliced strawberries
  18. Homemade granola bar
  19. 1 oz pretzels and spicy mustard
  20. 1 cup low sodium soup
  21. 1oz dark chocolate and grapes
  22. Small baked sweet potato topped with 2tbs greek yogurt and cinnamon
  23. 1 tbs peanut butter and 1 small banana
  24. 1 cup greek yogurt topped with ¼ c low fat granola
  25. Parfait made with ½ c greek yogurt, ¼ c cereal, ¼ c berries
  26. Veggie omelet: 1 egg, 2 egg whites, ½ c mixed veggies
  27. 1 skinny latte and 1 small banana
  28. 1 packet plain oatmeal topped with 2tbs greek yogurt and cinnamon
  29. 1 small pear dipped in chocolate coconut butter
  30. 3tbs lightly salted macadamia nuts and 1 small peach
